Virtually all Regina Ski Club trails are in public parks, shared by walkers, pets, runners, fat bike riders, snowshoers and skiers. In cooperation with many other groups, RSC attempts to accommodate all of these trail uses while maintaining ski trails that are free of harm from other users. White Butte Ski Trails have long been adjacent to trails dedicated to hiking and pets. In recent years, grants have enabled the club to obtain grooming equipment for walking trails, which RSC volunteer trail groomers provide alongside our ski-only trails.
In 2016, RSC developed a policy for allowing fat biking on or near some of our trail systems, including specific guidelines for each trail system. With more experience, and the recent addition of walking trails, we have updated that policy. See RSC Fat Bike Policy 2022.
