Trails & Conditions

The Regina Ski Club maintains several cross-country ski trails, through the efforts of more than twenty volunteer trail groomers. The White Butte Trails north of Emerald Park is our most extensive trail system. Within Regina are six smaller sets of trails in parks throughout the city.

This page contains current trail conditions for all Nordic ski trails maintained by the club. We make every effort to post current trail conditions, especially immediately after grooming. However, sometimes we can’t groom regularly because of melting or heavy drifting or lack of new snow, and the posting gets out of date. Therefore, please note the date that the information on a particular trail was updated.

In addition, links near the bottom of this page will take you to information on nearby trails maintained by others. These include the Qu’Appelle Valley Nordic trails at Lumsden, the trails in Echo Valley, Moose Mountain and Duck Mountain provincial parks, and other ski trails in Saskatchewan.

If you wish to make a Donation in support of RSC trail maintenance,
please see our Donations page.

Fat Bike Policy
With the increased popularity of fat bike cycling on snow, local cycling clubs have encouraged the Regina Ski Club to develop a policy for allowing fat bike riding close to RSC groomed ski trails in Regina and at White Butte.
Please read the updated Fat Bike Policy Regina Ski Club 2022 to learn where fat bike traffic is welcome and where it is not welcome adjacent to trails groomed by the Regina Ski Club.
