This weekend’s race will be on Sunday (Feb. 6) at Qu’Appelle Valley Nordic in Lumsden. It will be a classic race. Options are 3 or 6 laps (roughly 3.25km per lap). Race start is at 9 am.
A few things to note:
-You do not need to be a member of QVN to race. Note that the QVN trails are pretty sweet and well groomed, so I encourage everyone to become members.
-QVN requires proof of vaccine or a negative covid test to ski on their trails, so this will need to be provided to organizer Sandy Bain before the race.
As with Wednesday Night Races, this race is offered to provide local racing opportunities for both competitive and recreational Nordic skiers of all ages. All Regina Ski Club members are welcome to participate, free of charge, regardless of age, skiing experience, or ability.
