We need to make changes to get into compliance with the NonProfit Corporations Act and other changes are being proposed for general improvement of the society. Their stories mirror each other\, connected through time and space by common locations and motifs; injuries in the Colorado backcountry\, rehab at Craig Hospital\, fame in Jackson Hole; but also through their shared resiliency and refusal to let their zeal for life be limited by their injuries. \nBarry shows that growth after spinal cord injury is possible for everyone\, not just adaptive athletes. They are looking for snowboarders\, alpine skiers and cross-country skiers interested in joining their patrols. To give potential members a look at what the Ski Patrol does\, they are holding Ski With the Patrol Days at all the ski areas served by the Canadian Ski Patrol on Saturday\, March 2\, 2024. This includes cross-country ski patrolling at White Butte Nordic Ski Trails. \nThe Event \nAt Ski With the Patrol Day\, they will pull back the curtain to show what goes on during a typical patroller’s day. They will show some of their equipment\, provide a glimpse at some of their procedures\, outline the training requirements\, and explain how to become a member of this national organization. \nSki With the Patrol Day events are being held at the following ski areas: \n\nAsessippi Ski Area & Resort – Inglis\, MB\nDuck Mountain Ski Area – Kamsack\, SK\nMission Ridge Winter Park – Fort Qu’Appelle\, SK\nMount Joy Snow Resort – Lloydminster\, AB\nTable Mountain Ski Area – North Battleford\, SK\nWapiti Valley Ski and Board Resort – Gronlid\, SK\nWhite Butte Trails (Cross Country Patrol) – White City\, SK\n\nCandidates are asked to register in advance by emailing joinus.sask@skipatrol.ca \nFor more information\, visit the Saskatchewan Ski Patrol: \n\nwebsite at https://www.sask.skipatrol.ca\nFacebook event page at https://www.facebook.com/events/2003779816689665\n\nThe Organization \nThe 4\,500 volunteer members of the CSP promote safety of the slopes as well as provide first aid and rescue services to skiers and snowboarders in need – FREE OF CHARGE.
